Mobile phone imports increased by about 1.5 million units compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.

During the reporting period, the following countries were the major exporters of mobile phones to Uzbekistan:

• China - $88 million
• Vietnam - $68 million
• India - $10 million
• Kazakhstan - $5.3 million
• UAE - $1.6 million.
• Germany - $647 thousand
• Russia - $175.8 thousand
