The Tashkent city administration has announced a tender for the reconstruction of house No. 45 on Babur Street, Yakkasaray district, and the improvement of its environs for 35.5 billion soums. The company Discovery Invest (Power Construction Planet) won the tender.
According to the Davletovuz Telegram channel, Ismail Isroilov owns 66.9% of Discovery Invest. Isroilov also owns shares in such companies as TV and Radio Company Zo’r (31.2%) and Kolorpak (25%).
Previously, Kun.uz reported that a number of projects financed from the state budget in Tashkent were transferred to Discovery Invest without a competition.
There are the construction of 3 buildings of the Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (167 billion soums), the construction and equipping of the building of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (17.9 billion soums), the construction of the Digital Tashkent situational center (100.2 billion soums) and the construction of a quarantine zone for 2,160 seats in Zangiata (39.2 billion soums) among them.
According to Article 59 of the Law “On public procurement”, when the cost of goods (works, services) under one contract is more than 25 BCAs (base calculating amount), that is, more than 6 billion 750 million soums, state purchases are carried out through a tender.
It should be recalled that Kolorpak LLC, one of the founders of which is Ismail Isroilov, got the building of the printing house of the SUE UNICON.UZ in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, together with the corresponding territory, at a “zero” cost, taking into account investment and social obligations.
