From September 24, Jizzakh Automobile Plant started deliveries of Volkswagen Caddy ambulances to the Ministry of Health.

To further strengthen the material-technical base of the ambulance service in the republic, within the framework of the presidential decree of May 27, 2021, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade have been instructed to purchase 1,000 units of special ambulance vehicles by October 1, 2021.

To date, deliveries of class A ambulances based on the Volkswagen Caddy have already begun. 1,000 ambulances will replace the existing fleet of Damas microvans, the service life which has already expired.

Volkswagen Caddy ambulance cars will be delivered to all regions of Uzbekistan. They are equipped with modern devices and are manufactured in accordance with international requirements. The car interior allows comfortable accommodation of the patient and medical staff.
