On September 21, Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hisham bin Mishaal Al-Suwailem, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

“During the meeting, the ambassador's productive work from 2017 to 2021 was noted. Over the specified period, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia has consistently developed and strengthened,” the MFA said in a statement.

The ambassador, for his part, expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the practical support of his diplomatic activities in Uzbekistan.
