On July 8, 2021, EDC completed fracking at well No.1, Chigil field, thereby increasing its production rate by 70,000 m3 of natural gas per day.

On July 9, the well will be connected to the main pipeline and begin supplying gas to the domestic market. All works comply with relevant sanitary-epidemiological and environmental requirements.
