Applications of Uzbek citizens for admission to the educational complex next year will be accepted by the Advisory Board during the year – from August 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Citizens of Uzbekistan wishing to study at Al-Azhar must submit copies of the following documents to the Advisory Board:

Citizens’ appeals will be considered by the working group of the Advisory Council on July 16-30 this year, and the list of citizens recommended for studying at the Al-Azhar educational complex will be sent to the e-mail address of the complex administration.

According to the press service of the Committee, this procedure was established by the resolution No 651 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to create additional conditions for education in foreign religious educational institutions” dated August 13, 2018.

It should be recalled that a delegation led by Deputy Ombudsman for Children Aliya Yunusova met with Egyptian officials on June 15 to exchange views on the protection of the rights of Uzbek youth and children studying there, as well as their protection from religious extremism and terrorism.
