At the suggestion of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance and Public Health Service, the Ministry of Transport and a number of other stakeholders, the Republican Special Commission decided to take measures not to admit unmasked persons to the cabin of public transportation.

“Regardless of the organizational and legal form, a procedure will be introduced to require a PCR analysis, which must be submitted within the last 72 hours before admission to sanatoriums, resorts and children’s camps, until there is a separate instruction,” the ministry said in a statement.

The PCR test should be performed within 72 hours before arrival at one of these facilities.

In addition, the group of coronavirus vaccines in Uzbekistan has expanded. Now people aged 50 and older can get the vaccine for free. In addition, instructions were given to gradually accelerate the vaccination of teachers of universities at the expense of the state budget.

In Uzbekistan, the incidence of the disease has been growing since the second half of June, initially the number of daily cases was regularly more than 300, and in recent days this figure has not been less than 400.
