The meeting, which began at the pilgrimage shrine of Hazrat Ali, continued in the south of Shahimardan. The opening ceremony of the cable car leading to the mountain lake Kurban, at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, took place.
At the end of the event, a concert was held with the participation of Uzbek and Kyrgyz artists.

In memory of Khamza Khakimzade Niyazi, who was killed by throwing stones, in the Soviet years he was called Khamzaabad. Then the historical name was returned to it.
Due to problems at the border in the village of Shakhimardan, a stormy life subsided at one time. The flow of tourists has decreased.
The khokim of the Fergana region Khayrulla Bozorov, who visited the village, announced the restoration of minibus movements, the improvement of the village. Practical work has begun on the development of tourism in this beautiful corner.
