According to Kun.uz correspondent, the meeting will hear a report on the work being done to protect the health of the population and ensure the stability of the sanitary-epidemiological situation in the country, the measures being taken to vaccinate citizens against coronavirus.
The report is expected to be submitted by the Head of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service – Deputy Minister of Health and the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.
It should be recalled that mass vaccination in Uzbekistan is expected to start in March.
Russia’s Sputnik V and China’s ZF 2001 vaccines will be used for vaccination. More than 1 million doses of both vaccines are being purchased.
In the first phase, 4,112,668 people are expected to be vaccinated.
