Uzbekistan, Tajikistan resume regular flights

Regular flights between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have been resumed in accordance with a relevant decision of responsible authorities, Khovar reports with reference to the director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of Tajikistan, Ikrom Subkhonzoda.
“According to the decision made, flights between Tashkent and Dushanbe are operated once a week by Uzbekistan Airways and Somon Air,” he said.
Uzbekistan’s national air carrier operates flights on Wednesdays and Somon Air – on Fridays. Passengers can purchase tickets at major points of sale.
Ikrom Subhonzoda noted that in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all passengers must comply with sanitary and anti-epidemic requirements, wear protective masks and gloves.
In addition, passengers must have a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 performed within 72 hours prior to the flight departure.
