The Business Ombudsman now also has the right to appeal against a decision of the court of the first instance that has not entered into legal force, with the exception of disputes not related to entrepreneurial activities.

It is established that an appeal may be filed within one month from the date of the decision (previously 20 days).

The parties involved will be notified about the ruling that concerns the issue of accepting the appeal for proceedings within three days (previously, the notification was made on the day the ruling was adopted).

In addition, a cassation appeal can be filed within 1 year from the date of the decision of the court of appeal (previously, the appeal could be filed within one month after the entry into force of the court decision).

The persons concerned have the right to submit an application for a protest to re-consider the case in cassation to the Chief of the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor-General or their deputies.
