“Relaxing the quarantine measures does not mean its abolition” – Special Commission addressed to the people of Uzbekistan

“First of all, we want to thank all the people for the disciplined observance of quarantine restrictions introduced on July 10 this year.

This made it possible to stabilize the situation related to the spread of the coronavirus infection.

From August 15, quarantine restrictions are eased in our country. This is necessary to ensure the sustainable operation of the economic and social spheres, as well as to facilitate the living conditions of the population.

Easing the quarantine measures does not mean canceling it. In order to avoid a surge in coronavirus cases, the Commission urges citizens to continue to strictly adhere to personal hygiene rules.

Citizens are strongly recommended to:

- be sure to wear masks in public places;
- be sure to observe social distancing;
- wash hands regularly and use antiseptic agents.

Failure to comply with these rules can lead to a repeated increase in the number of diseases. That, in turn, will again force the introduction of strict quarantine requirements.”
