According to the decision of the Special Republican Commission on the gradual easing of quarantine restrictions from August 15, 2020, JSC Uzbekistan Railways will restore the movement of trains on domestic routes starting from August 15 this year.
In particular, 2 high-speed Afrosiyob trains will run en route “Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara-Tashkent”, 1 – en route “Tashkent-Samarkand-Karshi-Tashkent”, as well as 2 passenger trains – en route “Tashkent-Andijan-Tashkent”.
Passengers can buy tickets both at the box office and online.
The process of resumption of flights on domestic routes will also be carried out in stages. In particular, Uzbekistan Airways will start operating “Tashkent-Nukus-Tashkent”, “Tashkent-Urgench-Tashkent” flights three times a week and “Tashkent-Termez-Tashkent” flight twice a week from August 15.
Passengers are required to strictly follow the sanitary-hygiene rules when boarding trains and planes, in the area of railway stations and airports, and along the trip.
Quarantine restrictions, such as keeping a social distance (2 meters) in public places, wearing a medical mask, will be maintained even after August 15, 2020. Citizens with a body temperature of 37 degrees and above, or who have symptoms of the infection, are not allowed to enter public places.
