The sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further strengthening the cooperation in trade-economic, investment, transport and logistics spheres. They considered the measures taken by the governments of the two countries to mitigate the economic consequences of the global crisis associated with the pandemic.

The parties noted the effective interaction established between the ministries and agencies of the two countries on the development of cooperation in trade and investment, the role of industrial cooperation and collaboration in the transport-logistics sphere. Significant progress has been made in joint work to eliminate trade barriers, as well as to expand the range and volumes of bilateral trade.

It was stressed that the governments of the two countries are committed to paying special attention to support the sustainable growth of bilateral trade, with a view to taking urgent measures to ensure the unimpeded transportation of goods across the borders of the two countries.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to continue active interaction within the framework of working out current issues in the designated areas.
