“As you know, quarantine restrictions have been extended until August 1. In this regard, we have proposed to move the tests to later periods. It is planned to hold entrance exams after the quarantine restrictions are lifted. In other words, if the restrictions are lifted on August 15, tests will be conducted after August 15, and if they are lifted on September 1, tests will be conducted after September 1,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted the head of the department as saying.

Additional information was also provided on the venues where the tests will be conducted.

“The venues for conducting tests have not been confirmed yet. We will let you know once it is confirmed.

No matter what location is chosen, these facilities will be prepared in a way that they will have large-capacity, are under video surveillance, and will have conditions to show the process to the general public,” the STC official said.

It is added that an applicant, who comes to the entrance exams, will not be admitted to the exam if his body temperature is above 37 degrees. For such applicants, separate tests will be organized 4 days after the completion of all entrance exams.

It should be recalled that strict quarantine measures have been introduced in Uzbekistan from 10 July to August 1. If the epidemiological situation continues to worsen, this period may be extended by the decision of the Special Republican Commission.
