Qosimjon Rakhimberdiyev becomes new head of Internal Affairs department in Sokh district

According to the press service of the Sokh district khokimiyat, Qosimjon Rakhimberdiyev has been appointed to this position. 

In addition, Mamurjon Botirov has been appointed first deputy khokim in charge of financial and economic affairs and poverty reduction.

Bobosodiq Latipov has been appointed deputy khokim for youth policy, social development, spiritual and educational work.

It was previously reported that Sayidbakhrom Sayidmusayev, formerly Chief of the Sokh district department of Internal Affairs, was appointed khokim of the district.

It should be reminded that there was a conflict between Uzbeks and Kyrgyz citizens on May 31 near the Chashma spring, Sokh district.

On June 1, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Kubatbek Boronov, met at the Chechme-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint in the Batken region.

Later, senior officials also met with local residents.

On June 2, members of the Uzbek Government arrived in the Sokh district. The Head of State instructed them to study the problems of the local population, prepare an appropriate development program for the area and address the most important issues.
