Deputy State Advisor Farkhod Makhmudov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration. Kun.uz source reports about it.
F. Makhmudov will now be Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov’s deputy for media issues.
Earlier, Farkhod Makhmudov worked as the editor-in-chief at the “Uzbekistan 24” TV channel. In September 2018, he was appointed deputy state adviser to the President on media development, spirituality and enlightenment, culture, art and creative organizations.
F. Makhmudov was born in 1973 in the Chinaz district, Tashkent region. In 1996, he graduated from Tashkent State University. In 2008, he was awarded the Order “Mehnat Shuhrati”, in 2018 – the title “Honored Journalist of Uzbekistan”.
Since 1995, Farkhod Makhmudov has worked in various positions in the system of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.
