According to a presidential decree, starting from October 1, 2019, when purchasing a new car manufactured in Uzbekistan, citizens will need to pay a fee in the amount of 3% of the car cost to automobile manufacturers. Now this payment is made to the Republican Road Fund.

According to UzAuto Motors, this change will provide additional convenience for customers.

An additional agreement will be signed with buyers, who have inked the sales contract with a dealer before October 1 of the current year but have not yet received their car. A 3% fee must be paid by the buyer to the dealer at the time of receiving the vehicle. 

It should be noted that UzAuto Motors will become a VAT payer starting from October 1, and the company has made every effort to ensure that it does not cause unnecessary costs and disadvantages to customers. Therefore, car prices remain unchanged.
