Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Asian Development Bank delegation led by Treasurer Pierre Van Petegham, the CB press service said.

During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation in the issuance of bonds in national currency on international capital markets were discussed.

“The parties considered a number of issues regarding the assistance of ADB in financing projects through the issuance of offshore bonds linked to local currency,” the report reads.

As noted, in the future, ADB will be able to significantly expand its operations in the domestic market.

The sides also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of technical assistance.
