On October 31 – November 1, SCO member states’ government heads will hold a meeting in Tashkent. This was announced on Tuesday by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Igor Morgulov, TASS reports.
“The Council of National Coordinators is the most important link in the mechanism of the SCO cooperation, which ensures the implementation of decisions made within the organization at the highest level. At this stage, the council’s main task is to provide meaningful content for the meeting of the SCO member states’ government heads on October 31 – November 1 in Tashkent, as well as to start preparations for the summit of our organization in July in St. Petersburg,” he said. “I’m sure that you can handle it with dignity.”
Morgulov added that before the end of the year it is also planned to hold consultations on international issues of the SCO at the level of deputy foreign ministers.
