Government resolution “On measures to support and improve the effectiveness of the World Youth Association of Uzbekistan” (No.649, dated August 5, 2019) has been adopted, the Telegram-channel “Legal information” reports.
According to the document, the Advisory Board of the World Youth Association will be created in Uzbekistan. Its composition has already been approved and a program of measures has been developed to support and increase the effectiveness of the association.
One of the main tasks of the institution is to support the youth of Uzbekistan abroad, who have gone there to study or work.
Every six months, the council will report to the Presidential Administration and the government. It is planned to hold “Days of open dialogues with youth” quarterly, as well as organize the festival “Young compatriots”.
Reportedly, a round-the-clock helpline and a special web portal will be launched to assist in matters falling within the Association's competence.
