First Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Ravshan Gulyamov has been appointed adviser to the President, Kun.uz source reports.

According to the source, Ravshan Gulyamov became presidential adviser on the issues of economic development, implementation of investment and foreign trade policies.

Throughout his career Gulyamov worked as First Deputy Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Executive Director of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

From April 2017 to August 2018, he headed the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for assistance to privatized enterprises and development of competition.

In January 2019, Ravshan Gulyamov was appointed First Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry.
