On July 24, a telephone conversation took place between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press service of the head of state said.
At the beginning of the conversation, Vladimir Putin congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday, sincerely wishing him well-being and success.
“The leaders of the two countries noted with deep satisfaction the level of strategic partnership and alliance. It was emphasized that thanks to joint efforts in recent years, bilateral relations have been filled with specific content,” the report reads.
During the conversation, the heads of state discussed pressing issues of regional and international policy, and also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further development of a full-scale partnership for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries, in the interests of ensuring stability and prosperity of the entire Central Asian region.
