Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the chairman of the Uzbekistan – Netherlands Friendship Society “UzNed” Dalya Cakar and a member of “UzNed”, co-founder of “Halal Certification Centre Uzbekistan” Abubekir Uztiur, the MFA press service reported.

During the conversation, representatives of “UzNed” confirmed their readiness to strengthen and expand cooperation with the Embassy in priority areas. In particular, readiness was expressed to consider various options for attracting investments and implementing projects in the field of trade, export, agriculture, tourism and transport.

Following the talks, the parties agreed on the following concrete steps for the near future:

- a broad celebration of Uzbekistan’s 28th Independence Day in the Hague 

- intensification of the tourist inflow from Europe, including the Netherlands. To this end, the chairman of UzNed will visit Uzbekistan in the near future to hold specific talks with the relevant departments and authorities of our country;

- attracting investments in the transport and logistics industry of Uzbekistan.

On August 7-11, Abubekir Uztiur will visit Namangan region to solve practical issues of launching a foreign enterprise “Certification Center Uzbekistan”.
