Nodir Otajonov becomes PM adviser, Uzagrotechsanoatxolding chairman

Nodir Otajonov was appointed Adviser to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzagrotechsanoatxolding, Kun.uz source reported.

Prior to his current appointment, Nodir Otajonov worked as Deputy Adviser to the President on Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.

In addition, Deputy Minister on Economy and Industry Umidjon Salimov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzagrotechsanoatxolding.

It should be recalled that on November 17, 2016, the President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on establishing the joint-stock company Uzagrotechsanoatxolding for the production, sale and maintenance of agricultural equipment, as well as for provision of mechanized services to agricultural producers.

The decree determined the list of main tasks and activities of JSC Uzagrotekhsanoatkholding, including the implementation of systematic marketing research of the demand for agricultural equipment and spare parts for it, as well as placing orders for their production, primarily at enterprises that make up the company.
