Cement plant worth $4 million to be built in Jizzakh region

A cement plant with a capacity of 4 million tons per year will be built in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Justice Ministry.

The project, designed for 2019-2020, costs $4 million. To realize the task, the company UTD-Holding, whose founders are the German companies Phoenix Consulting GmbH and Medianet in H.M.Hermsen, has established the LLC UTD Cement.

In mid-May, it was reported that in Uzbekistan, tax benefits for cement imports are abolished.

Earlier, it became known that the site near Tuzkan Lake of the Aydar-Arnasay lakes system of the Jizzakh region was chosen as a potential area for the NPP construction.
