JSC Uzbektelekom is surprised why in some ratings Uzbekistan is at such a low level. This was announced by the press secretary of the joint stock company Uzbektelekom Alexander Suchkov.

An open dialogue was held at the conference hall of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications on the topic “Actual issues of development of the telecommunications sphere” between Uzbektelekom officials and journalists. Correspondents were interested when Uzbekistan will step up from the last places in the Internet ratings.

“We ourselves are surprised why in some ratings our country is at such a low level,” Alexander Suchkov said.

Journalists also asked why the public does not notice acceleration of the Internet speed.

“The devices installed at homes of citizens and in offices, technically do not correspond to these speeds. Imagine that you are allowed to move at a speed of 200 km/h, but if your car is not adapted to this speed, then everything is useless. You need to upgrade the device first,” he said.
