Russian Tatneft plans to open a representative office in Nurafshon. This issue was considered at a meeting of the company's board of directors on April 26.
“The Board of Directors considered the issue of opening a representative office of PJSC TATNEFT in the city of Nurafshon (the administrative center of the Tashkent region),” the company said in a statement.
Since last year, Tatneft has been negotiating to participate in joint projects in Uzbekistan.
The company also plans to create a network of petrol stations in the republic. In December 2018, the oil company registered a sales subsidiary in the city of Nurafshon. Tatneft does not yet have gas stations in Uzbekistan. As of October 1, 2018, its retail network consisted of 691 gas stations, including 582 in Russia, 18 in Belarus, and 91 in Ukraine.
