The Central Bank has established new exchange rates of foreign currencies for the purpose of accounting, statistical and other reporting on foreign exchange transactions, as well as calculation of customs and other obligatory payments, which will be effective from April 23, 2019.
According to the Central Bank, the US dollar dropped by 14.01 soums and amounted to 8441.36 soums.
The Euro, in the meantime, went down by 61.42 soums. Now 1 euro is equal to 9493.15 soums.
The Russian ruble, on the other hand, increased by 0.25 soums and reached the mark of 131.78 soums.
Note, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan does not undertake the responsibility of selling or buying those currencies at a fixed price.
