The Central Bank drafted a new edition of the Law "On currency regulation" and passed to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for submission to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis. The press service of the CB informs Kun.uz about it.

After adoption of the bill, the issue of cash foreign currency sales to individuals will be discussed.

It is underlined that the procedure for the sale and purchase of cash foreign currency is expected to be settled through introduction of amendments and addenda to the existing legislative norms.

Starting from April 1, 2018, in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a mechanism of online purchase of foreign currency through mobile applications by individuals and withdrawal of foreign currency purchased on international payment cards by commercial banks was implemented.
