The Russian “Orsky pritsepostroitel” intends to build a plant for the production of trailers and semi-trailers with a lifting capacity from 2 to 24 tons in the Naryn district of Namangan region. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia reported about it.
To implement the project, Russian partners are ready to make direct investments in the amount of $3 million. Construction work is scheduled to begin this year, the enterprise will be commissioned in 2021.
In March, representatives of “Orsky pritsepostroitel” and “Orsky pritsepy” companies visited the location of the future production and discussed the issues related to construction of the plant.
In addition, during the meetings with local tax, customs, statistics and housing and utilities officials, Russian partners received comprehensive information on the trade-economic potential of the region, current fiscal and other benefits and preferences, conditions for doing business.
Following the meetings and negotiations, the parties signed a roadmap on implementation of the project.
Earlier, it was reported that production of minibuses under the UzFoton brand would begin in Namangan.
