Uzbek, Kyrgyz entrepreneurs discuss trade-economic co-op issues

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Utkir Butayev and a Kyrgyz delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic Jyrgalbek Sagynbayev held a meeting and discussed further priority areas of the cooperation, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

The main attention was paid to the development of trade and economic cooperation and the strengthening of business ties between Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic in such areas as industry, namely light industry, energy, subsoil use and others.

At the meeting, mutual information was presented on trade and economic cooperation and foreign trade relations between the two states, as well as on a favorable investment climate and support for entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

Following the meeting, representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic highly appreciated the great opportunities for entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan aimed at creating wide opportunities for even more efficient activities and expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbek partners.

In the framework of negotiations in B2B format, President of the Legprom association of light industry enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic Saparbek Asanov and founder of Tekstil Trans LLC Almazbek Abdrayev held talks with General Director of BMB Trade Group Mahmud Asamov on cooperation in the field of light and textile industry.

During the talks, the sides exchanged views on individual issues and prospects for the development of cooperation, and also discussed issues on implementation of joint projects and access to new markets.

Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their mutual interest in establishing fruitful cooperation.
