On February 7, Opera started testing its new built-in browser virtual private network (VPN) feature for Android systems. Beta users around the world are now among the first ones to test the free, unlimited and no-log VPN feature.

This exciting new feature in Opera for Android is designed to empower users with increased control and privacy of their browsing. Users no longer need to download separate, paid-for apps to shield their browsing when on public Wi-Fi. Just tapping on “Settings” in Opera browser and activating VPN is what one needs to do to start using the feature.

The reason why Opera is including this built-in VPN in its Android browser is because it gives users that extra layer of protection that they are searching for in their daily mobile browsing.

Previously, Opera became the first major browser maker to integrate an unlimited and free VPN into the desktop browser. This feature quickly became extremely valued by millions of users around the world. Now the company wants to bring that same experience to its mobile browser.

It should be noted that VPN is a very necessary feature for Internet users of Uzbekistan since number of worldwide popular apps such as Facebook and YouTube are inaccessible without it in the territory of the country.
