The American company Valmont Industries intends to enter the market of Uzbekistan and implement a pilot project in one of the regions of the country, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
This became known after the negotiations of the ambassador of Uzbekistan to the USA Javlon Vakhabov with the vice-president of Valmont Industries Joshua Dixon.
It should be noted that Joshua Dixon visited Tashkent in November 2018 as part of the Valmont delegation and met with the leadership of the ministries of water and agriculture, as well as a number of farmers interested in the technological solutions of this company.
Following the conversation, an agreement was reached on the organization of a special visit of Joshua Dixon to Uzbekistan in February 2019. He will hold a detailed presentation of Valmont sprinkler irrigation technology and equipment with subsequent installation in test mode in one of the regions of the country.
The American company also intends to provide Uzbek farmers with access to Valley University's electronic knowledge portal, which is a certified distance learning system in the fields of agronomy, irrigation, water conservation and water distribution systems.
