Export sales of Lada in 2018 increased by 57%, to 38 thousand vehicles (in 2017, the growth was about 30%). Over 30% of sales for export fell on the model Lada Vesta, writes RBC.
The main export markets for AvtoVAZ remained, as before, the CIS countries: Kazakhstan - 13.1 thousand cars (+ 51%), Belarus - 10.4 thousand (+ 182%), Uzbekistan - 2.6 thousand (+ 357%).
Total Lada is sold in 34 countries. From January, AvtoVAZ raised prices for Lada cars. On average, the price tag went up by 1,525 thousand rubles. This is due to the increase in the value-added tax rate from 18 to 20%.
Earlier it was reported that in the first 11 months of 2018, Uzbekistan was among the top three importers of Russian cars.
According to the analytical agency Avtostat, the Czech Republic is leading in terms of this indicator (except for the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union), where during the reporting period 6.3 thousand Russian cars were imported. Ukraine is on the second line of this rating - 3.8 thousand cars, and Uzbekistan with 3.1 thousand cars concludes the top 3.
