On November 12, during the operative meeting in Altai, the Minister of Agriculture of the Altai Territory Alexander Chebotayev stated that in 2019, it is planned to start deliveries of pedigree cattle from the Altai Territory to Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to the local media.
“Two thousand livestock were sold outside the Altai Territory. The supplies cover 14 regions of Russia, as well as several provinces of Kazakhstan. In October, during the first Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, preliminary agreements were reached on the supply of livestock to Uzbekistan. Starting from next year, the Altai Territory plans to sell cattle of red prairie breed to Uzbekistan,” Mr. Chebotayev said.
