Chinese businessmen intend to launch 7 projects whose total value is around $700 in Jizzakh region, Uzbekistan. They plan to invest in the construction of a cement and brick plant, pharmaceutical industry, basalt production, construction of 435-room hotel, poultry farming and modern greenhouses. It was declared at the meeting between the officials of Jizzakh regional administration and managers of Chinese company “Hengshui Decheng Machinery & Equipment Co. Ltd”.
The event was held at the regional administration and Ganisher Mamatkulov, the first deputy governor of the region, informed the guests about the facilities created for foreign investors in Uzbekistan. After that, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the parties.
“This is the third time that we are coming to Jizzakh,” says Elisa Du, one of the managers of “Hengshui Decheng Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd". “The international investment forum in Jizzakh left a great impression on us. Today, we have signed a memorandum of cooperation on 7 promising projects. We will implement them very soon.”
