Journalist and poet Salim Ashur has been appointed as the Head of Media, TV and Broadcasting Development Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kun.uz correspondent confirms the information.

This division is a part of the service of mass media, the development of spirituality and enlightenment, culture, art and creative organizations.

Besides, Bakhodir Makhsutovich Yunusov was appointed Chief Consultant and Elbek Dolgovich Dolgiyev was appointed as a Senior Adviser to the branch.

Earlier, on August 27, the Uzbek President's Office was re-established as the Presidential Administration and Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov was appointed as the head.

Khayriddin Sultonov, the former state advisor on media development, spirituality and enlightenment, culture, art and creative organizations for many years, was appointed speech writer of the President.

Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov, the State Advisor for Science, Education, Health and Sports Development, was temporarily overseeing the media service. At the end of September, Farhod Makhmudov was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Presidential Media Service.

Nowadays, the head of the service for the development of mass media, spirituality and enlightenment, culture, art and creative organizations remains vacant.
