As the third Summer Youth Olympic Games are continuing in Buenos Aires, Uzbek boxers are delighting their fans with spectacular results.

Three boxers from Uzbekistan, who have reached the semi-finals, will fight tonight for the right to secure a ticket to the final of the championship.

Jahongir Rakhmonov, in the weight category up to 69 kg, will face Agustin Arregui of Argentina at 2:00 pm (10:00 pm Tashkent time), while Timur Merjanov (81 kg) is to fight Russian Ruslan Kolesnikov at 2:30 pm (11:30 pm Tashkent time).

Another representative of our team Abdumalik Khalokov (56 kg) will battle with Cuello Mirko Jeheil of the host country at 6:00 pm (2:00 am Oct. 17 Tashkent time). All the matches are to be held at the Oceania Pavilion.

It is worth noting that the national team of Uzbekistan has 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals in its stock as of now.
