Murad Khanturayev was freed from restraint

On October 12, the trial of the criminal case against the defendants Murod Khanturayev, Doniyor Vakhobov and Ilhomjon Parpiev was completed at the Yakkasaray district court of criminal cases and the sentence was announced.

Aziz Obidov, the official representative of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, told Kun.uz that the case was reviewed by the Judge Temur Kasimov.

Following the court’s decision, M. Khanturayev and D. Vakhobov were found guilty under Article 277 (hooliganism) Part 3 in paragraph "a" and I.Parpiev under Article 168 (Fraud) Part 1 and Article 277 (hooliganism) in paragraphs "a", "b", "c" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The court upheld the defendants' sentences based on the principles of humanism, tolerance and justice expressed in the Constitution and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Yakkasaray district criminal court sentenced M. Khanturayev to a fine of 94 times the minimum monthly wage, D. Vakhobov to limitation of the freedom for 3 years and 8 days and I. Parpiev to 20 percent confinement of his wage to the benefit of the state and 2 years 1 month 24 days punishment of disciplinary activities.

While sentencing, the guarantee letters of local administration were taken into consideration.

The court also explained the procedure and duration of the appeal against the sentence.

Earlier, Murod Khanturayev together with a group of people was reported "to violate the code of self-conduct in public" at a nightclub in Yunusabad district on June 21.

He was hospitalized in the local clinic in Yunusabad with wounds by knife on his chest and was subsequently taken to the police station.

For information, Khanturayev was born in 1987 in Tashkent. At the moment, he is a 3rd year student at the Plekhanov Russian Economic University in Tashkent. He is married and has two children.
