On Oct. 6 (Oct. 7 Tashkent time) the most intriguing fight of the 2018 took place in Las Vegas: Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor.
The Russian Eagle Nurmagomedov has defeated Conor McGregor in the fourth round of their eagerly anticipated lightweight title bout before jumping over the Octagon to attack his rival's corner.
In the meantime, one of Khabib's team entered the Octagon and attacked a still dazed McGregor, before police and security guards intervened.
The Irishman, who promised to kill his opponent, was immediately hurried out of the T-Mobile Arena, with Dana White deciding to cancel the traditional post-fight ceremony.
Nurmagomedov was then given a police escort out of the Arena, as Irish fans threw drinks at the lightweight champion and attempted to reach him.
The Russian fighter, who is still undefeated, dominated the battle and secured a submission victory in the fourth round of the contest.
