Uzbekistan National Team played a friendly match against Iran in Tashkent.
In the first half of the match, Iran took full control of the game, boosting attacks and creating more chances before the Uzbek team’s goalpost. However, neither the attacking Iran nor the defending Uzbekistan could score within the first 45 mins.
The second half of the game was not much different, except for the goal scored by an Iranian player Mahdi Turobiy on the 67th minute of the match.
However hard the Uzbek team tried, they were not able to level the score. As a result, Carlos Queiroz’s Iran snatched victory with a single goal.
