A delegation, led by Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, is to visit Moscow on September 7. Head of Uzbek government is expected to meet with his counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in the Russian capital.

Abdulla Aripov and Dmitry Medvedev will discuss a wide range of issues, including current state of bilateral trade, and prospects of economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Special attention will be paid to enhancing cooperation in the fields of nuclear energy, industry, agriculture and education.

Following the talks, the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held under the chairmanship of Dmitry Medvedev and Abdulla Aripov.

It is expected that number of intergovernmental documents will be signed at the meeting.

Abdulla Aripov will be accompanied by his Deputy Aziz Abduhakimov, Minister of Finance Jamshid Kochkarov, Minister of Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev, Minister of Economy Botir Khojayev, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development Shukhrat Sadikov, Minister of Employment and Labor Sherzod Kudbiyev, Minister of Secondary Special Education Inom Majidov and Minister of Agriculture Bakhodir Yusupov.
