Critical Changes in President's Office: State Advisers Khairriddin Sultanov and Kahramon Kuranbaev take another posts.

On August 27, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev. Results of the meeting say crucial changes are expected in the structure of the president’s office.

The president’s office will be re-established and named as the presidential administration, report sources in Kun.uz. Zaynilobiddin Shahobiddinovich Nizomiddinov, erstwhile head of the executive body of the president’s office, will be appointed as the head of the new administration.

The state counselor’s institute has now been abolished and state consultants have become presidential advisers.

Former government adviser of the President on youth policy Kahramon Kuranbaev and former state adviser on issues of culture, media and creative organizations Khairiddin Sultanov has now taken another posts.

Kuranbaev now serves as the deputy for Abdujabbor Abduvakhidov, who holds the principal position in the sector on improving science, education, healthcare and sports.

Abdujabbor Abduvakhidov, in the meantime, will temporarily replace Khairriddin Sultanov on his duties.

Sultanov will continue to serve as the speechwriter for the President and is considered as the president’s adviser.

Other ex-counselors of the State Rustam Qosimov, Rustam Inoyatov, Victor Mahmudov (Secretary of the Security Council) and Tursunkhon Khudeybergenov were re-appointed to their posts. There is no information on the future activities of the former head of the presidential administration Zelimkhan Haydarov.
