Semifinals of the Cyber Security Challenge Uzbekistan will be held at the Youth Creative Palace in Tashkent on 7-9 July 2016.
Cyber Security Challenge Uzbekistan is organized by Kamolot Movement, Center for Youth Initiatives, Ministry of Development of information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, Public Fund for support of NGOs and other civil society institutes under Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Cyber Security Challenge Uzbekistan is organized for the first time. It is directed at increasing potential of youth in cyber security. The contest is open for youth at the age from 15 to 30.
It is worth to mention that qualification round were held in six regions of Uzbekistan from 18 May 2016 to 10 June 2016. The online testing was also conducted on five directions. The applicants, who collected the most points, qualified to the semifinals.
Cyber Security Challenge Uzbekistan will provide more difficult tasks of the participants. They should solve all proposed tasks within three days.
The participants, who solve tasks, will progress to the final of the contest, which will be held in September within the ICTWEEK Uzbekistan-2016.
The prize fund of the 30 million soums. The winners will also receive special prizes from the organizers and partners.
