The Uzbekistan National Boxing team won three gold, silver and bronze medals and ranked second in the Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships held in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan.
More than 100 boxers from about 20 countries of our continent competed for the victory.
AIBA Junior World Champion and ASBC Asian Junior Champion Bilolbek Mirzarakhimov the weight category up to 60 kg won the gold medal. In the final, he defeated Ankush Dahiya from India.
Ulugbek Sobirov in the weight category up to 69 kg by winning the boxers from Chinese Taipei, Japan and Kazakhstan also became the Asia Champion.
Sanjar Tursunov has proven his superiority in the competition among boxers in the weight category up to 81 kg. He won over Mustapa Chariev from Turkmenistan in the third round, he won Maimaiti Maierdan from China by the technical knockout in the first round, in the final won over Reyal Puri from India and took the highest step of the podium.
Otabek Holmatov, Shohruz Rakhimov and Abdulla Hudorganov in their weight class were awarded with silver medals, Shunkor Abdurasulov, Ziyodbek Urolov and Shohruh Rustamov - bronze.
