Secondary housing market in Tashkent sees marginal price increase in August

In most districts of the capital, prices for secondary housing remained unchanged. However, in the Mirabad and Almazar districts, prices rose by 1.7% and 1.3%, respectively. Meanwhile, three districts saw slight price declines: Shayhontohur district (-1.1%), Sergeli district (-0.9%), and Chilanzar district (-0.6%).

In Uzbekistan, the real estate market activity showed a slight decline in August 2024. According to CEIR, 22.2 thousand real estate transactions were registered in August, which is 3.5% lower compared to July, when 23 thousand transactions were recorded.

Regionally, the largest decrease in real estate operations in August 2024 was recorded in Syrdarya (22.6%) and Khorezm (13.2%) regions, as well as in Tashkent (9.7%).

During the same period, prices for secondary housing across the country rose by 0.7%. Compared to August of last year, the average price per square meter increased by 9.7%. Significant price growth in the secondary housing market was noted in the Khorezm region (+21.4%), Surkhandarya (+14.6%), Bukhara (+13.4%), and Kashkadarya (+13.3%) regions.
