As part of his visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhobov held talks with officials of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the talks, the parties reached an agreement on the establishment of a joint Uzbek-German Economic Chamber in the city of Hamburg.
The purpose of establishing the economic chamber is to ensure unhindered access of businessmen of the two countries to relevant institutions and offices, to eliminate barriers to communication, and to support the creation of a direct exchange platform between Uzbek and German companies.
The establishment of this chamber was financed by the LUNO group of companies, with Mirko Novak as its director.
Davron Vakhobov, a founding member, was appointed chairman of the Uzbek-German Economic Chamber.
