According to the report, state budget expenditures in 2022 were executed in the amount of 236.7 trillion soums, which is 48.4 trillion soums more than in 2021.
During this period, 49.7% of state budget expenditures were social expenditures, which were executed in the amount of 117.7 trillion soums, which is 25.7 trillion soums more than in 2021.
It is noted that a significant part of the funds in the structure of social spending was directed to the education sector.
At the end of 2022, state budget revenues amounted to 201.7 trillion soums, exceeding the forecast by 1.5 trillion soums.
Compared to 2021, revenues increased by 37 trillion soums.
At the end of 2022, the deficit of the overall fiscal balance of the Consolidated Budget did not exceed the established limit and amounted to 35.2 trillion soums (4% of GDP).
The increase in the budget deficit compared to the planned for 2022 (25.5 trillion soums, or 3% of GDP) is due to an increase in spending mainly on the social sphere, supporting the economy and the population, as well as investments in social and industrial infrastructure.
