The Work Shop Montenegro 2023 event was organized on the initiative of the Uzbek company Prestige Travel and the Montenegrin company R-Tours Budva in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It was attended by representatives of ministries and heads of travel companies of the two countries.
During the event, foreign entrepreneurs were first provided with detailed information about the opportunities created in the field of tourism in Uzbekistan. Then the parties entered into a dialogue to achieve mutually beneficial agreements through the effective use of the tourism opportunities of the two countries.
“We appreciate the growing number of Montenegrin citizens who want to get to know our historical places, rich cultural heritage and beautiful nature of Uzbekistan, and we will be glad to see them in our country,” said Ulugbek Azamov, First Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism.
During the dialogue, it became known that Montenegro is canceling the visa regime for citizens of Uzbekistan.
In addition, regular direct flights will be launched between Uzbekistan and Montenegro from June.
“One of the most relevant news today is that from June 2023, Prestige Travel will open direct flights to Montenegro, and, importantly, citizens of Uzbekistan will no longer need a visa to travel to Montenegro,” the report says.
